June has produced an interesting month of results overall. We have seen a significant drop in the website traffic throughout the month of June, as well as a drop in the average session duration. For now, we are not too worried about this dip as we are confident that as the SEO rankings begin to stabilise more with Google, we will see these numbers pick back up. In terms of the rankings themselves, they are continuing to move around which is exactly what we expect. We will be monitoring this carefully over the next month before going forward with our off page strategy.

SEO Analysis

The results for June were as expected for SEO. As the key search terms begin to stabilise with Google, there were fluctuations both in the positive and negative. The total number of search terms appearing on the first page of Google’s results decreased from 13 search terms to 12, but the 4 search terms positioned at number 1 retained those positions. Most significantly, the term ‘skip bins araluen’ increased by 97 positions to number 3 which is fantastic. Throughout July, the search terms will continue to fluctuate and eventually stabilise, which will allow us to roll out some off-page strategies which will continue to improve rankings and minimise large fluctuations.
