June has produced a fantastic month on the SEO front, with a much slower month for AdWords. The SEO rankings have been fluctuating massively since the new SEO pages went live, which is exactly what we want to see at this stage in the campaign. Over the coming months these terms will eventually stabilise with Google. In terms of the Google Ads campaign, this has been running with some slower results, however we have now implemented the exact match strategy and can already see some drastic improvements across the board. We will be watching this carefully to ensure we keep moving in the right direction with conversions.
SEO Analysis
The month of June has been a fantastic month of SEO results! As the first full month of results since the new SEO pages went live, we are very pleased with the results we have seen already. We can now see 33 search terms appearing in the top 10 results (first page) on Google, with 13 of those terms actually appearing in the top 3 results on that first page. Some terms in particular which have hit the ground running include ‘back pain treatment cremorne’, ‘vertigo treatment prahran’ and ‘scoliosis treatment caulfield’ which have jumped 99, 95 and 93 positions respectively. Over the coming months we will be monitoring these rankings as they continue to jump around before stabilising with Google.
AdWords Analysis
June has been a slower month for the Google Ads campaign can that we would have liked to see. We started using an exact match type keyword strategy towards the end of the month to address this issue and to also increase the stats across the campaign overall. These changes started to show signs of improvements and we believe it is working successfully, as the first week of July is filled with conversions and our conversion rate is through the roof. The plan for July is to continue this kind of structure before also looking into allocating excess budget if there is any towards different times of the day after seeing some more data coming through.
