The month of July has shown some interesting yet positive results. First up we can see a significant 65% drop in the overall website traffic, particularly in the middle of the month where there was a large dip in users visiting the site. We will keep a close eye on this traffic over the coming month, and as we continue to see our SEO rankings improving we would expect to see the overall website traffic increasing also. The rankings themselves are performing well already with a few terms moving straight onto the first page of Google’s results. We will be monitoring these rankings over the coming month to ensure we continue seeing movements in the right direction.
SEO Analysis
July has been a fantastic first full month of results since the SEO pages went live. We can now see 15 search terms appearing in the top 10 results (first page) on Google, with 6 of those appearing in the top 3 positions on the first page. Some terms in particular that have seen some great improvements include ‘wedding photographer ilkley’, ‘photographer maleny’ and ‘photographer noosa’ which have moved 85, 72 and 9 positions towards those first page rankings. Over the coming month we will continue to monitor how these rankings move around with Google. Once these terms stabilise slightly we will be able to implement our off page strategy.
