Manager
July has produced some strong numbers overall. We have seen a slight increase in website traffic with the majority of this traffic coming from both organic (Google Search results) and cpc (Google Ads). We have identified an issue with our Google Ads tracking towards the end of the month, where we are unable to track all conversions correctly due to a tracking issue mentioned below. Once fixed, we will again be able to report fully on the Google Ads data. The SEO rankings are showing some fantastic improvements in particular for a Brisbane search terms which was a great win! We will continue with our optimisations over the coming month for both SEO and Google Ads, and work to get to the bottom of the tracking issue.
SEO Analysis
The month of July has shown some outstanding results for the SEO rankings. We have seen some massive jumps with the terms ‘down light installation the gap’, ‘smoke alarm installation indooroopilly’ and ‘smoke alarm installation toowong’ all moving straight into the 1st position on Google. Some other wins include the term ‘electrician brisbane’ improving by 2 positions as well. Over the coming month we will be continuing with our link building strategy after the Satellite GMB’s were created. We will also be keeping an eye on these to ensure they are ranking in the map pack.
AdWords Analysis
The Google Ads campaign has been successful overall and in terms of landing page traffic. We saw an increase in the number of clicks (7.8%) and CTR (59%) because of the exact match terms we used in the campaign re-build strategy. However, it looks like we are not able to track conversions properly due to a conflicting analytics code attached to the website. It looks like this is interfering with our existing tracking. The plan for August is to fix this tracking issue in order to track all conversions more accurately so that we can better and more effectively identify the areas of opportunities in the campaign.
