August has produced a fantastic month of results across the board! While we have seen a very slight dip in the overall website traffic, it has been great to see the average session duration improve. Our SEO rankings are continuing to make positive movements towards the first page and even the top 3 positions on the first page. The biggest win from this month was seeing the Brisbane search terms continuing to improve! On the Google Ads front, we have seen a total of 9 phone conversions which was fantastic! We are still facing an issue with our Google Ads tracking, where it seems that not all conversions are pulling through to our dashboard. We will be continuing to find a solution for this issue through September as well as optimising the campaign to see an increase in CTR and ultimately conversions tracked.

SEO Analysis

The month of August has been impressive for the SEO rankings! We can now see 62 terms appearing on the first page (top 10) of Google’s results, with 53 of those terms appearing in the top 3 positions on the first page. The terms ‘smoke alarm installation ashgrove’ and ‘smoke alarm installation the gap’ saw massive leaps of 99 and 36 positions to now be in the #1 position on Google. It has also been a great win to see the terms ‘24 hour electrician brisbane’ and ‘emergency electrician brisbane’ move into the 3rd position on the first page of Google’s results. Over the coming month our focus will be on the off page strategy in order to see a further boost in terms appearing in the top 3 results on Google.

h2>AdWords Analysis

The Google Ads campaign has been very succesful for the month of August. We have seen a drastic increase in Clicks (12.9%) and the Conversion rate (167.6%). While we are still facing a conversion tracking issue, through our call tracking, we have been able to see a total of 9 phone conversions over the last month, some of which were not recorded in the dashboard. We are continuing to work on a fix for this data issue on our dashboard, however the campaign structure otherwise is in great shape. Our plan for September is to have an accurate conversion tracking and structure for the campaign to lead to an improved CTR.
