The month of September has been positive across the board! While we have seen a slight dip in the website traffic, as we switch to a Call-only campaign we should expect this to be the case for October as well, as users will not be coming to a landing page, but rather making a call directly. On the SEO front, we have seen some steady improvements for a range of the rankings including the Brisbane terms which has been great. Our off page strategy should encourage these rankings to continue making progress throughout October. On the Google Ads front, with the new Call-only campaigns live, we will be monitoring this closely to review the results and optimise it accordingly.
SEO Analysis
September has seen a steady month of results for the SEO rankings, with some positive wins for the Brisbane search terms. We have seen the term ‘electrician brisbane’ improve its position by 4 over the last 30 days, and the term ‘down light installation brisbane’ move up 1 position into the 8th position on the first page! We have also seen some movements for the Windsor keywords which has been positive. With our off page work we have been able to defend many of the achieved rankings and will continue with this strategy to also see further improvements for the Brisbane rankings.
AdWords Analysis
The Google Ads campaign has been successful for the month of September! We were able to fix the conversion tracking issue and we are now seeing all accurate stats reporting from the 2nd week of September onwards. With that being said, we were able to achieve an increase in Conversions (200%) and Conversion rate (231%) throughout the month. The plan for October is to utilise Call-only ads for a couple of weeks. These campaigns are using the emergency electrician terms to trial if this will produce more cost effective results. We will be monitoring this over the next few weeks.
