The month of November has been outstanding across the board! We have seen a 26% increase in the overall website traffic, with an increase in the amount of traffic coming from organic (SEO) and cpc (Google Ads) throughout the month. The SEO campaign has made progress towards more page #1 and even the top 3 position rankings over the last 30 days, and we saw some particular wins on the Brisbane front. The Google Ads campaigns have been running very successfully with the Google Maps ads performing very well in particular. Through December we will be continuing with our optimisations to ensure we can maintain this level of results and even see further improvements across the other call-only campaigns as well.

SEO Analysis

November has produced a great month of SEO results. We have seen an increase in the number of keywords appearing in the top 10 and top 3 results which is fantastic! We now have 58 keywords appearing on the first page of Google’s results, with 54 of those keywords actually appearing in the top 3 results on that first page. We have seen some massive wins over the last 30 days for the Brisbane keywords in particular, with ‘down light installation brisbane’, ‘smoke alarm installation brisbane’ and ‘24 hour electrician brisbane’ moving 90, 3 and 1 position respectively to now all be sitting in the 10th, 11th and 3rd position. Over the coming month our off page strategy will continue with a focus on the Brisbane location keywords to ensure we can not only maintain these new positions but also push them further up on page #1 of results.

AdWords Analysis

The Google Ads campaign has seen some drastic increases in the stats across the board for the month of November. We have seen an increase in CTR (0.8%), Clicks (469.6%) and Conversions (75%) which is fantastic. Increasing the budget has really helped with the progress in getting to this result, although we did encounter a couple of costly clicks we are very pleased with the conversions we have been able to achieve. While we have a cap on the CPC now, we are very pleased with our cost per conversion which is now sitting at $94.24. The plan for December is to structure the campaign to achieve a higher CTR and improve our conversion rate by optimising keywords and ads. Our focus will be on the non performing ads, to either remove them from the campaign or optimise them accordingly.
