The month of November has produced some very pleasing numbers. While we have seen a 10% dip in the overall website traffic, it has been promising to see this traffic pick up slightly towards the end of the month. This is a positive sign for what is to come in December. The SEO rankings themselves have continued to jump around with some large leaps as well as some steadier movements as well. Over the last month we were able to secure an editorial spot through our link building strategy which contributed to some of the improvements we have seen in the rankings. SEO Analysis
November has seen some fantastic SEO results! We can now see 70 keywords appearing in the top 10 results with 46 of these actually appearing in the top 3 results on the first page of results. In particular, the terms ‘aveda salon castle hill’, ‘hair colouring macquarie centre’ and ‘hair salon castle towers’ have jumped 96, 83 and 82 positions respectively towards page rankings. It has also been a huge win this month to see the Sydney terms ‘hair salon sydney’ and ‘hairdresser sydney’ move 76 and 16 positions respectively. Over the coming month our focus will remain on the link building strategy to ensure we can maintain our achieved rankings over the Christmas period.
