The month of April has produced some fantastic numbers for the SEO and Remarketing campaigns in particular. We have seen a significant 60% increase in website traffic, with a large portion of this traffic coming from cpc (Google Ads and Remarketing Ads). It has been very pleasing to see that the remarketing ads are contributing to bringing users back to the website. The Google Ads campaign has seen some slower numbers then the previous month, however we are confident that the number of searches for excavation services will pick up in the coming month, and we will be in a good position to get those clicks on our ads. The SEO campaign has seen some fluctuations in the rankings and the keyword ‘bobcat hire rockingham’ has moved from 9th position to 7th position on the first page of results which is great. Through the coming month we will be restructuring the Google Ads campaign to ensure we can see an increased CTR and an increase in the number of conversions achieved. On the SEO front, we will be utilising the on-page strategy to further optimise our SEO pages in Google’s eyes. This will encourage some of our rankings to move into more of those valuable page #1 positions on Google.

Google Ads Analysis
Through April, the Google Ads campaign generated a total 714 Clicks, 1.6% CTR, 45.6k Impressions and 1 Conversion.
We have noticed that these numbers are slightly down from the previous month, likely due to the restrictions in place from COVID-19.
Our plan for May is to rebuild the campaign as we are starting to see higher numbers in traffic. We will be focusing on getting more clicks through the month and converting those clicks to get phone calls as much as possible. We will also be working to ensure we can resolve the conversion tracking issue so that our achieved conversions do show in the marketing dashboard.
We will also structure this rebuild to focus on getting a higher CTR which will help us achiev our goal in the coming month.
