The results for the month of August continues the trend of slow dips in website traffic due to the effects of Melbourne restrictions, with a few wins for our targeted keywords. We are continuing to focus on the SEO rankings to ensure the site is in a strong position once restrictions are lifted in the city. We have seen yet another decrease in the overall website traffic this month worth 32%. We plan to position our rankings to help stabilise the website traffic in the coming month once searches for a speech pathologist pick up once again. For keyword rankings, we’re pleased to see a slight growth in overall SEO keyword rankings as we were able to increase the number of keywords in the top 3 rankings while maintaining the keywords we have in the top 4 to 10 positions. On the other hand, the movements for our targeted keywords are more conflicting. We have seen the keyword ‘speech pathology Melbourne’ drop from the 1st position to the 7th position in the last week. Positively, keyword ‘speech therapy Melbourne’ has moved up from the 2nd position to the 1st position on Google. We plan to recover the decline in the Melbourne ranking in the coming month of September as well as pushing the ‘online speech therapy’ ranking upwards by using our link building strategy.
