The SEO campaign for the month of October has seen some noteworthy wins as well as a few areas we can work on. We are going strong with our keyword rankings for ‘tree pruning Fremantle’, ‘tree removal Fremantle’, and ‘tree services Fremantle’, all ranking in the 1st position of search results. There has been an increase in the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions, as well, with 12 keywords in October compared to 8 in September. While we would have wanted to see steady growth of our site visits for October, addressing website issues from October 16 to October 25 caused the website to temporarily disable and led to a slight 17.8% decrease in the number of users visiting our website from 118 users last month to 97 users this month. Of the 97 website users, 55 of them are organic users (SEO traffic). There has been a 22.5% decrease in the users’ average session duration, as well, from an average of 1 minute 9 seconds for the month of September to an average of 53 seconds for October. It is interesting to note that while September users accessed the website mostly from desktop followed by users accessing from their mobile device, October’s census of users also included users accessing from tablet, with 55.7% of users accessing from desktop, 40.2% accessing from their mobile device, and the remaining 4.1% of users accessing from their tablet. To regain traction and strengthen our campaign, we will be using an off-page strategy in the month of November to ensure we can maintain top #1 positions for the Fremantle keywords.
