The beginning of the month of October showed mixed results for website traffic and SEO ranking. User visits were down 64%, although a majority of these were still new users arriving from organic (SEO) channels. There was also a dip in SEO rankings for keywords, with 11 in the top 3, down 9.1% from last month. But there is still a generally positive result, as there are 17 further keywords in the top 4 to 10, meaning 28 results in total are on the first page of Google! Unfortunately, the tracking codes for website data were seemingly removed from the site through the month, meaning data for the month is incomplete. But the spike in website traffic before the data loss is promising, as it means traffic was increasing. We have since reimplemented the tracking codes, and will be able to track data from November onwards. The SEO goal for November will be to use off-page strategies to see the target keywords move closer to the top 3 rankings of the search page results.
