The results for the month of February show steady numbers overall for the SEO campaign. There have been weak points in this month’s data, indicating the need for a more assertive SEO strategy. The trend in site visits was heavily fluctuating, illustrating an unstable site performance. Along with the decline in traffic is the significant dip in the number of visitors brought in by the organic (SEO) channel. For the keyword rankings, one of the keywords from the top 3 positions have dropped down to the top 4 to 10 position, affecting our average ranking. It has been concerning to find targeted keyword ‘arborist hervey bay’ ranking as 4th on Google search results and Google Maps when it has previously ranked in the top 1 position. Similarly, targeted keyword ‘stump grinding hervey bay’ has also gone down from the top 1 position to the top 2 position of search results and Google Map. Overall, it has been a challenging month for the campaign so we aim to pursue off-page work to maintain and improve keyword rankings for March.
