February has unfortunately seen a drop in website traffic following last month’s more positive results. User visits have dropped 24.0%, while the overall trend throughout the month was up-and-down, though fairly high. We attribute this dip in website traffic to the fact that ‘mobile mechanic’ keywords have been removed from the campaign and redirected to ‘mechanic’ keywords. Still, users arriving through organic (SEO) channels comprise well over half the visitors to the site, which remains promising. Average session duration has also increased by 21.6%, which means people are spending more time on the site! We have noted the average ranking drop by 7.9% which again is due to the ‘mobile mechanic’ keywords removal from the campaign. We still have a further 32 keywords within the top 4 to 10 spots, which we can work on in the coming month! Throughout March, we aim to recover the site’s SEO performance and traffic by creating new SEO pages, with a focus on mechanic and Toyota keywords.

SEO Analysis

  • 18 keywords ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 32 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘mechanic perth’ ranking in 18th position (second page)
  • Keyword ‘mechanic bayswater’ ranking in 7th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘mechanic rockingham’ ranking in 12th position (second page)
  • Through March, since removing all ‘mobile mechanic’ keywords from the campaign, we will be pouring our focus onto the mechanic and new Toyota focused keywords in the coming months by creating new SEO pages to rank in Google’s search results
