The month of March has produced results for the SEO campaign that were slower than expected. It was unfortunate that the website traffic has gone down again, despite the recent recovery last February. Tracking the trend of site visits, it is apparent that the heavy fluctuations and days with no site visits at all urge the need to stabilise campaign performance for the coming months. The organic (SEO) channel remains to be the top channel in the campaign, as it brings in the majority of overall site visits. Nevertheless, the number of organic users has still dipped from 95 last month to 69 this month. Fortunately, there is a brighter side to March’s campaign as we note a slight increase in the overall SEO ranking brought about by the jump in keywords ranking in the top 3 positions of Google’s search results. On the other hand, the below focus keywords have not been performing as well as expected, especially with keyword ‘childrens dentist camberwell’ moving down from the first page of Google to the second. The new SEO optimised blog post is expected to boost site performance within the coming weeks, but we will also be focusing on using on-page optimisations to optimise keywords with valuable search volume to in turn see the website traffic bounce back up.
