March has produced more promising results after February’s dips. It has been pleasing to see the overall website traffic has picked back up, with a welcome 25.7% increase in user visits and an overall high trend. Again, an overwhelming majority continue to arrive through organic (SEO) searches — 367 throughout March (362 new), which is an increase from the previous month! The average session duration decreased marginally, but still remains over a minute, which is favourable for the campaign. The SEO performance has been mixed this month, as the site saw a 5.0% rise in the average position rank, however keyword performance has dipped slightly in areas. There are five fewer keywords in the top 3 spots, with 3 in the #1 position. There are also a further 12 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots, which we plan to build on in the coming months! Since refocusing our keywords in the previous month, we have poured our focus into the keyword ‘dentist Rockingham’ which lead to a ranking improvement to position #5. This April, we will expand our on-page optimisations to take advantage of the monthly search volume for the ‘dentist baldivis’ target keyword and bring it to the first page of search results. With this plan, we expect to see a continued increase in the organic site traffic next month.
