The month of April was able to produce strong and stable results overall, with just a few dips in website data. Unfortunately, there has been a 25.3% decrease in overall website traffic this month which was an unexpected turnaround from last month’s recovery and increase in site visits. Despite the drop in organic users from 91 to 76 organic users, the organic (SEO) channel remains to be the top-performing channel so far. On a more positive note, the massive 381% increase in average session duration reassures us on the substance and quality of content in the site in general. There has been little movement in terms of keyword rankings with the average SEO ranking held steady for the month and most of the targeted keywords continue to secure their previous rankings on both organic search results and Google Maps. We will continue with our off-page strategy for the month of May to defend these rankings as well as boost some of the targeted keywords closer to the top 1 position of Google and in turn see an increase in the website traffic as well.

SEO Analysis

  • 2 keywords ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 1 keyword ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘tree lopping hervey bay’ ranking in 3rd position (first page) in search results and in 1st position in Google Maps results
  • Keyword ‘arborist hervey bay’ ranking in 4th position (first page) in search results and in 1st position in Google Maps results
  • Keyword ‘stump grinding hervey bay’ ranking in 2nd position (first page) in search results and in 1st position in Google Maps results
  • Our off-page work will continue through the month of May to ensure the achieved rankings are actively defended from other local arborists. Through this approach, we also plan to see 1 or 2 ranking movements towards the #1 positions.
