April saw a slower month of results after March’s more promising site performance. There was a 49.8% decrease in user visits alongside an overall lower trend, with some spikes in activity. More promisingly, though, a large majority of users continue to arrive through organic (SEO) searches — 110 this month, with 108 of them new. SEO ranking performance also saw a marginal 1.1% dip in rankings, with five fewer keywords in the top 3 spots, although we still have 7 keywords securing the #1 rank on the first page of results! A pleasing win for the month has been noted as the further 24 keywords now ranking in the top 4 to 10 spots (first page of results), which we will continue building on in the coming months. Meanwhile, after moving away from mobile services, we will continue putting our focus on website improvements and on-page optimisations. We’ll also be optimising new content for the ‘mechanic’ and ‘Toyota’ relevant keywords. In particular, we’d like to recover the ranking of the ‘mechanic belmont’ target keyword alongside recouping the overall website traffic and SEO performance in the coming month of May.

SEO Analysis

  • 16 keywords ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 25 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘mechanic perth’ ranking in 68th position (seventh page)
  • Keyword ‘mechanic bayswater’ unranked in Google search results pages
  • Keyword ‘mechanic rockingham’ ranking in 78th position (eighth page)
  • Through May, our focus remains on the website revamp since moving away from the mobile services. With updates being completed on the homepage, as well as further updates upcoming for the Services on the site, we plan to optimise the new content for the ‘mechanic’ and ‘Toyota’ specific keywords in the coming month.
  • We plan to investigate further on-page optimisations for the keyword ‘mechanic belmont’ as well as it seems to have dipped in the rankings significantly this month. In the coming month, we plan to see this keyword bounce back in making its way closer to the first page of Google’s results.
