Rapid Locksmiths – April 2021 Monthly Report

The month of April has seen some peaks and dips in the results overall. We have noted a small setback on the site in terms of website traffic, with a marginal 0.5% drop in user visits. Meanwhile, the average session duration increased again to nearly 2 minutes! Over half the users continue to arrive through organic (SEO) channels, which is very positive. In terms of SEO performance, we again saw another fantastic rise in the site’s SEO ranking, up 6.9% following last month’s improvement. Keyword performance did dip, however, with just 27 now in the top 3 spots, but half of those (14) rank #1! We also have a further 20 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots. In particular, we saw a significant jump in ranking for the ‘locksmith Balwyn’ target keyword following last month’s optimisations. Throughout May, we will now focus on the ‘locksmith Mitcham’ target keyword to take advantage of its monthly search volume.

  • 26 keywords ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 18 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘locksmith ringwood’ ranking in 8th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘automotive locksmith ringwood’ ranking in 1st position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘locksmith Blackburn’ ranking in 3rd position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘security locks Blackburn’ ranking in 4th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘locksmith Balwyn’ ranking in 11th position (second page)
  • In April, we focused on the on-page optimisation for the keyword ‘locksmith Balwyn’ and we saw its ranking jump to 11th position (second page) from 20th position (second page) the previous month, which was fantastic to see!
  • Through the month of May, we will turn our focus to push the keyword ‘locksmith Mitcham’ from its current 28th position ranking, closer to the first page of Google’s results as there is a significant number of searches for this keyword each month.
