Gardengigs – July 2021 Monthly Report

The results produced for the month of July have been steady and generally positive. It has been fantastic to see a significant 22% increase in overall website traffic for the month. The majority of this traffic can be attributed to the organic (SEO) channel, which indicates a thriving SEO performance on organic search results. In fact, the organic channel has generated more traffic this month with 211 organic users in total. For keyword rankings, although the number of keywords that are ranking within the top 3 positions have gone up, there are a total of 8 keywords that have dropped down from the top 4 to 10 positions. This has shifted the average SEO ranking downwards. For the targeted keywords, we are pleased to see them still secure on the first page of Google. However, we aim to boost the ranking for ‘landscaping canberra’ further for the coming month of August to the 6th position or better.

  • 24 keywords ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 31 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘landscaping canberra’ ranking in 7th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘landscape design canberra’ ranking in 7th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘garden design canberra’ ranking in 1st position (first page)
  • In July, we completed an on-page optimisation for keyword ‘garden maintenance canberra’ which is ranking in 30th position (third page).
  • For the month of August, we will continue with our on-page and off-page strategies to see a further boost in the keyword ‘landscaping canberra’ making its way to the top 3 positions.
