Results slowed down somewhat for the SEO campaign in July – with some wins towards the end of the month. Following last month’s rise in user visits, we saw an 18.8% drop in site traffic. The overall trend did see some peaks, though, and over half the users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, which is favourable. We also saw a small but pleasing 4.0% rise in average session duration, meaning users find our content relevant to their searches. SEO performance also dipped marginally, as the site’s average rank dropped by 1.0%. We do have 12 keywords now in the top 3 spots, with 10 holding the #1 ranking — a very positive result! There are a further 12 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots, meaning almost all our keywords are on Google’s first page. This August, we will expand our off-page strategies to see more keywords move closer to the #1 position in search results.
