August saw some mixed results in terms of website and SEO performance. The site experienced a setback in user traffic, with an 18.4% decrease in site visits. On the other hand, the overall trend had several high points and ended on a high note, which has us optimistic! An overwhelming majority of users also arrived through organic (SEO) channels, with almost all of them new. In terms of SEO performance, the site saw a small but welcome 1.8% increase in average ranking – nonetheless pleasing to see. We’ve sustained our keywords in the top 3 positions of search results, and over 60 of them hold the #1 ranking. We did lose some keywords from the first page, but we’re hopeful of recovering performance. August saw us focus on the ‘insulation installers Penrith’ target keyword, which now ranks 3rd in search results. This September, we’ll focus on the Sydney target keywords – in particular, we want the ‘roof vacuuming Sydney’ keyword to return to its #1 rank.
