August again saw ups and downs in the website’s performance, although there were some positives! We did see a marginal slowdown in site traffic, down 1.8% from last month. Still, the overall trend saw several peaks, with an upward note near the end. A majority of our users again arrived through organic (SEO) channels, with a rise from last month — very pleasing to see. SEO performance also suffered a setback, with a 21.4% drop in the site’s average rank, although it still maintains a fairly high average ranking position of 6.2. We lost one keyword in the top 3 spots, however, half our keywords still rank on the first page of search results. We also have one more keyword holding the #1 spot, which is very favourable. September will see us focus on on-page optimisations for the ‘building certifier Kiama’ target keyword so we can move it closer to the top 10 spots of search results.
