September saw some welcome recovery in website traffic, with a 27.0% increase in user visits over the month. The overall trend saw ups and downs but ended on a pleasing high note. A notable number of users again arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and almost all of them were new. On the other hand, though, we saw a significant drop in the site’s SEO ranking by 18.0%, alongside some keywords dropping from the top 3 spots. Still, a sizable number of our keywords remain on the first page of search results, which is pleasing to see. We also now have two keywords in the #1 position. In September we created an optimised blog post for the site, alongside some on-page optimisations for the ‘concreters byron bay’ target keyword. In October, we will focus our on-page and off-page strategies on the ‘concreters tweed heads’ target keyword due to its large monthly search volume. The aim is to boost its ranking in search results.
