September was a month of highs and lows for the campaign, though we did note several positives. User visits saw welcome recovery by 37.7%, and the overall trend peaked a few times across the month. A majority of our site visitors continue to arrive through organic (SEO) channels, and all of them were new – very pleasing! On the SEO side, we did see another 16.7% dip in the site’s average rank. Still, we have more keywords now in the top 3 spots, and almost all our keywords remain on the first page of search results. In September, we focused on our-page efforts on the ‘retaining walls Eltham’ target keyword, and we expect it to move through Google’s rankings in the coming weeks. October will then see us focus on the ‘excavation eltham’ target keyword, which currently ranks 24th, with the goal to move it closer to the top 10 spots in search results.
