January saw some setbacks for the campaign, but there remain reasons for optimism. User visits again had a minimal drop, but by a lower percentage than November – this time by just 2.3%. More favourably, a large majority of users continue to arrive through organic (SEO) channels, and the overall trend for traffic was high. The site’s average rank again dropped by a minimal 0.2%, but we’ve sustained our keywords in the top 3 spots of Google’s search results. A significant number also remain on the first page, which is pleasing to see. January saw us focus on the ‘dentist beeliar’ target keyword, and we hope to see movement in the coming weeks. In the meantime, this February we will focus optimisations on the ‘dentist hammond park’ target keyword to take advantage of its high search volume.
