Our SEO campaign again showed positive results for January, with several key stats rising. User visits increased by a favourable 34.2%, and displayed a sharp upward trend towards the end of the month. Almost half the users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, followed closely by CPC users. Average session duration also increased, which means users find our site content relevant to their searches. We did see a minimal 10.1% drop in the site’s average SEO rank, but it remains at a high 5.4 overall. 95 keywords remain in the top 3 spots, with a large majority ranking in #1. January saw us focus optimisations on the ‘martial arts Greensborough’ target keyword, which now ranks 10th on Google’s first page – up from its original rank of 18th. This February we will shift our focus to the ‘martial arts Thomastown’ target keyword so move it up the search rankings.
