February continues January’s promising results for the campaign, with very limited setbacks. User traffic did see a decline, but the overall trend remained high. Almost all the users arrived through organic (SEO) channels – 235 total, with 226 of them new. In pleasing news, average session duration increased by 34.0% and remains well over a minute. This shows our content continues to be relevant to user searches. We also saw an 8.4% rise in the site’s average SEO rank, and a favourable number of them are on the first page of Google’s search results. The campaign did lose some keywords from the top 3 spots, however. February saw us focus our on-page optimisations on the ‘landscaping macarthur’ target keyword, which has moved 6 places up to 9th, on Google’s first page. In March, we will shift our focus to the ‘landscaping contractors kingston’ target keyword to take advantage of its monthly search volume.
