April was a month of small wins, but they give us reasons for optimism. We again see a small but pleasing increase in user traffic, this time by 2.6%. The overall trend was up and down, with our highest per-day peaks coming at 11 site visits on the day. We also saw more users coming through organic (SEO) channels, which is very favourable! In terms of SEO, we saw a very welcome increase in the site’s average rank, up 6.2%. We also have more keywords now in the top 3 spots, with a significant number remaining on Google’s first page of search results. The keyword ‘locksmith Doncaster’ is performing notably well, up to the 22nd position now following our optimisations; its previous position was in 35th. In April, we optimised the ‘locksmith Balwyn’ target keyword, which presently ranks 35th. We hope to see similar movement in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, for May, we will complete on-page strategies on the ‘locksmith Glen Waverley’ target keyword, which is a suggested focus location with a high monthly search volume. We aim to improve its ranking closer to the top 10 spots.
