May was a month of highs and lows for the campaign overall. Site traffic again dipped by a marginal amount of 2.6%, but the overall trend was fairly high. 77% of our users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and almost all of them were new to the site. More pleasingly, the site’s average SEO rank went up by 6.2%, and is now at 13.8 overall. We did lose some keywords from the first page of Google’s search results, but we saw some optimistic outcomes. May saw us complete optimisations on the ‘garden maintenance canberra’ target keyword, which we expect will move in rank in the coming weeks. For June, we will focus on the ‘landscaping fadden’ target keyword to improve its SEO rank.
