May brought more favourable results for the campaign, although not without some setbacks. User traffic saw a welcome recovery, up 30.5% from last month. Average session duration also went up and is now over a minute. Of the total site visitors, 55.8% of them arrived through organic (SEO) channels, with all of them new to the website! In terms of SEO, however, we did see a small dip in the site’s average SEO rank, although it still remains fairly high at 9.1. We also lost a keyword from the first page of search results. The ‘retaining walls lismore’ keyword has gone up to 12th from its previous position of 18th. Meanwhile, we completed optimisations in May on the ‘excavation eltham’ keyword to boost its ranking back after it dropped from 10th to 14th. In June, we will focus on the ‘retaining walls eltham’ keyword which is fairly competitive. We aim to boost its ranking back to the top 10 spots.
