May was a month of more highs than lows, which is very favourable for the campaign. We saw a welcome recovery in user traffic, up 21.6%. Traffic peaked on 18 May, with 29 users on the website for the day. Average session duration is now well over a minute, up by 169.5%! The site’s average SEO rank did take a small 1.1% dip, but we’re seeing some improvement in keyword rankings. In June we will expand our strategies for vital keywords to boost organic search rankings and get keywords on the first page of Google search results. The Google Ads campaign was similarly positive, with a 188.64% increase in conversion rate. This brings the campaign’s conversion rate to 6.8%, with 9 conversions total.We also saw a decrease in Cost Per Click, which is a huge win. In May we added different search terms to the negative keyword list, which produced immediate results. In June, we will continue updating the keyword list to avoid wasting resources.

  • May has been great for the Google Ads campaign. We got a 188.64% increase in conversion rate and 3.13% decrease in cost per click, which resulted in a 66.44% overall reduction in cost per conversion. This is a huge win for us, since we are getting more leads with the same monthly budget.
  • However, we observed that the Air Conditioning Maintenance ad group has been taking up the budget for most of the month without getting conversions due to competitor search terms.
  • For May, we put low intent and competitor search terms in the negative keyword list and were able to immediately see results that led to 2 conversions for the Air Conditioning Maintenance ad group by the end of the month.
  • With that being said, the plan for June is to continue updating the negative keywords list to avoid wastes due to irrelevant, low intent and competitor searches.

  • For the month of May, we are seeing adjustments in the results for the SEO campaign and keyword rankings.
  • Keyword ‘commercial electrician Maroochydore Dc’ is ranking in the 17th position (second page).
  • Keyword ‘commercial electrician Peregian Beach’ is ranking in the 20th position (second page).
  • Keyword ‘commercial electrician Bli Bli’ is ranking in the 21st position (third page).
  • Through the month of June, we will expand our on-page and off-page strategies for the vital keywords with the aim of boosting and stabilising their rankings and bringing them closer to the first page of Google search results.
