July was a month of ups and downs for the website and the SEO campaign. Website traffic did see a sudden spike, but we haven’t yet tracked the reason for 669 visitors arriving onto the website on 5 July. We did note 73 users arriving through organic (SEO) channels, which is pleasing to see. Meanwhile, the site’s average SEO rank did drop, but we’ve sustained the number of keywords in the top 3 positions. In July, we shifted to off-page strategies in order to boost search rankings and improve the way both Google and users perceive website authority. For August, we will focus on on-page optimisations for ‘locksmith Doncaster’ since it is a high-competition keyword with a significant monthly search volume. We aim to bring it closer to the first page of organic search results.

  • On 5 July, we noted that the number of site users increased by almost 600%, we could not determine the source of this traffic as it has not been categorised by Google.
  • Additionally, the average session duration or time spent by users on-site has expanded to well over 2 minutes. This is a big win for the site in terms of user engagement.
  • For August, our plan is to focus our on-page optimisation on the high-competition keyword ‘locksmith Doncaster’ as it has significant monthly searches. Our aim is to bring it closer to the first page of Google search results.
