August continues the positive results from the previous month in terms of both website and GMB performance. Website traffic continues to climb, up by a more significant percentage (42.2%) than July. The number of users also trended upwards over the course of the month, which looks promising. Over half of the total users arrived through organic (SEO) channels as well. The site’s average SEO ranking did dip slightly, but keyword performance has remained steady. The GMB listing showed more favourable results, with increased total views, although we saw fewer direct calls from the Rockingham GMB listing. In August, we focused optimisations on the ‘plumber Rockingham’ keyword, which currently ranks 16th on Google. We expect its ranking to improve in the coming weeks. We also published an optimised blog post. In September, we will switch to off-page strategies for SEO in order to improve website authority and relevance. For the GMB, we will focus on boosting the organic rankings for the Baldivis and Rockingham location keywords – particularly ‘plumber Baldivis’ (3rd on Google Maps) and ‘plumber Rockingham’ (9th on Google Maps). We aim to bring these keywords into the top 3 positions of Google Maps to improve visitor actions on the website.

  • In August, the on-page optimisation strategy focused on the keyword ‘plumber Rockingham’. The goal was to help it get solid ranking that is closer to the first page of Google search results.

  • The Baldivis GMB listing generated 1,697 total views (up 1,586 previously), 28 website visits (down from 37 previously), and 28 phone calls made directly from the listing.
  • Meanwhile, the Rockingham GMB listing achieved 309 total views (up from 250 previously), 3 website visits, and 2 direct calls (down from 7 previously) made directly from the listing.
  • Through September, the GMB strategy will focus on boosting the ranking for Baldivis and Rockingham location keywords, in particular using keywords ‘plumber Baldivis’ and ‘plumber Rockingham’.
