September was a more challenging month for both the website and SEO campaign. There was a small drop in the total number of website users, although a similar percentage of users (78.9%) arrived through organic (SEO) channels. The overall trend of website traffic was up and down, but peaked several times – particularly near the end of the month. Regarding SEO performance, the average SEO rank slipped by 1.7%, but keyword performance has been steady, which is pleasing to see. September saw us complete on-page optimisations on the ‘building inspection Shellharbour’ keyword to boost its organic search ranking. This October, we will switch to off-page strategies to maintain, if not improve, website authority and relevance.
