With website traffic having settled in August, September shows a more positive trend. Site users increased by 22.8% and rose steadily over the month, with 81.4% of those users arriving through organic search channels. The average session duration is also now up over a minute, which shows our content is relevant to user searches. On the other hand, SEO performance has experienced some challenges – the average SEO rank slipped, while some keywords fell out of the top 3 spots of Google search results. However, we will return to on-page optimisations this month, which should help keyword performance. In September, we focused on off-page strategies to improve website authority and relevance. This October, we will complete on-page strategies on the competitive ‘locksmith Ashburton’ keyword since it has a high monthly search volume. We aim to bring it closer to the top 10 spots on Google.
