Kenec Plumbing and Gas – October 2022 Monthly Report

The campaigns experienced some challenges in October. Website traffic did not continue the previous month’s more positive trend, instead slipping by a small percentage. There was a notable spike of 19 users on 09 October 2022, but the overall trend was up and down – although the month did end on an upward note. More promisingly, 58% of users arrived through organic search channels, and almost all of them were new. In terms of SEO, the site’s average SEO rank also saw a marginal dip, but keyword performance has held steady. The Google Business Profile generated slightly fewer views than the previous month, but the Rockingham GBP listing saw increased views and 4 phone calls – a more positive showing. In October, we published a new service page for the ‘pipe relining Perth’ keyword alongside a new blog post. We also posted SEO content for the GBP listing to gain more relevance. In November, we will focus on off-page SEO strategies to improve Google Maps rankings. We also aim to boost the ‘pipe relining Perth’ keyword to see its ranking move closer to the top 3 spots of Google search results.

  • 5 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘blocked drains Baldivis’ is ranking in the 6th position (first page).
  • Keyword ‘leak detection Rockingham’ is ranking in the 7th position (first page).
  • Keyword ‘gas plumber Baldivis’ is ranking in the 9th position (first page).
  • Keyword ‘blocked drains Rockingham’ is ranking in the 11th position (second page).

  • Keyword ‘plumber Baldivis’ ranking in 3rd position in Google Maps or local search results (in the map pack).
  • Keyword ‘blocked drains Baldivis’ ranking in 6th position in Google Maps or local search results (in the map pack).
  • Keyword ‘plumber Rockingham’ ranking in 9th position in Google Maps or local search results.
  • Keyword ‘blocked drains Rockingham’ ranking in 17th position in Google Maps.
  • The Baldivis Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) listing generated 1,071 total views (down from 1,396 previously), 25 website visits, and 13 phone calls (down from 28 previously) made directly from the listing.

  • Meanwhile, the Rockingham GBP listing achieved 245 total views (up from 235 previously), 2 website visits, and 4 phone calls made directly from the listing.
