December the account gained 9 conversions. Most of these came from calls through the ads and a few Contact Form submissions. The Dynamic and Standard Search campaigns are still both limited by budget due to competitor search terms such as “simply dental noosa” and “wattle st dental” eating away the budget.
However, The Dentist Noosaville campaign ranked 1st in Search Impression Share, having ad visibility of 36.75%. It also ranked 2nd in terms of the number of times it got in the first position of the paid local search results for December. During those times, it got 3 leads.
For December, we added new keywords based on the search term report for the Standard Search campaign, such as “mary street dentist”, which is related to the dental practice location. Furthermore, we added competitor terms in the negative keywords list to reduce the wastes in the budget.
With that being said, the plan for January is to continue updating the negative keywords list to avoid wastes in budget due to irrelevant, low intent and competitor searches. We will also test new ads for all ad groups and pause non-performing ones based on historical data for the past 6 months. Finally, we will aim for the Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking code to be installed in the third party booking website.
