The month of August has produced a set of pleasing results for our campaign. We are glad to note that we were able to mitigate the negative trend in website traffic from the past few months as we see a slight increase in overall traffic for August. Based on the user trend for the last week of the month, we can expect to see more improvements in the number of website visitors. Despite the increase, there is a slight drop on the number of users brought in by our organic channel, indicating an area of improvement in terms of our SEO campaign. Our overall SEO keyword rankings have had small positive movements, stabilising throughout the end of the month which has been pleasing. The number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions of Google have gone up while the keywords ranking in the top 4 to 10 positions have gone down from 5 to 4. Our biggest win for the month was being able to maintain our keyword rankings for our targeted Fremantle keywords at the top 2 positions. It’s also very exciting to see the keyword “tree services Fremantle” ranking within the top 3. We plan to pursue this growth in targeted keyword rankings by using on-page optimisations for the month of September in order to secure more keywords in the top 1 position.
