The month of March has seen the Brisbane Google Maps listing maintain its rankings. We have been able to maintain our achieved Brisbane ranking in the top 7 positions. However, our goal is to get these into the top 3 positions as this will add the most value for the business. The Sunshine Coast Map rankings are continuing to show slower results, and we will be using a more aggressive off page strategy in April to get over this hump.

The month of February has seen some steady results for the Google Maps rankings. We have been able to maintain our achieved Brisbane rankings, however we are not yet where we would like to be. We will be continuing with our link building strategy to ensure we can push our rankings into the top 3 results for Brisbane keywords. For the Sunshine Coast keywords, we are seeing more resistance, however we will be utilising a more aggressive approach to see a large leap in their rankings through March.

The month of January has seen a positive start to the year. We can see the Brisbane GMB listing sitting in the 7th position for the keyword ‘ducted air conditioning service brisbane’. It is also ranking in the 6th position for the term ‘ducted air conditioning installation brisbane’. While the Sunshine Coast listing is proving to be more resistive when it comes to ranking in the map pack, we will be continuing to focus on our off page strategy in order to see further improvements on this end of things. Through January, we were able to secure 2 editorial spots which have led to some of the increases in rankings we have seen for the Brisbane keywords.

The month of November has continued to show some strong results for the Google Maps results! We can now see the Brisbane Google My Business listing ranking in 6th and 8th positions for the keywords: ‘ducted air conditioning installation brisbane’ and ‘ducted air conditioning service brisbane’. This is a huge win and as we continue with our off page strategy we would expect these rankings to continue to climb the ladder to the top 3 positions. The Sunshine Coast GMB is proving to be a little more competitive to rank, and is currently sitting in the 19th and 29th positions for the keywords ‘air conditioning service sunshine coast’ and ‘air conditioning installation sunshine coast’. Again, we will be utilising our off page strategy to build more authority behind the listing which should encourage movements closer to the top results in the map pack.

The month of October, as the first month of results since starting work on optimising the existing GMB listings, has been very positive! We are targeting 8 unique terms amongst the 2 GMB listings and have seen the term ‘air conditioning repairs and services brisbane’ for the Brisbane GMB begin ranking in the 5th positions which is a huge win! We have also seen movements towards better rankings for ‘air conditioning services sunshine coast’, ‘air conditioning repairs and services sunshine coast’ and ‘air conditioning sunshine coast’ which is great! We will now be focusing on our off page strategy in order to gain more authority behind these listings and see them rankings closer towards the top 3 results on Google.
