The month of January has seen a positive start to the year overall. We have seen a huge 59% increase in the website traffic with 181 users coming directly from organic (SEO) search results through the month. The SEO rankings have been progressing very positively onto the first page of Google’s results. Over the coming month our focus remains on the Brisbane keywords and we will be turning to an on-page technique in order to see these keywords moving closer to the top 1-3 positions on the first page of results. On the Google Ads front, we have seen a significant increase in the number of impressions and clicks, however we have tracked no conversions for the month. In the coming month, we will be focusing on blinds and shutters only as these keywords have a lower cost per click which means we can target this more successfully within the current budget. Otherwise, a budget increase would go a very long way in seeing improved results for the Google Ads campaigns as it would mean we could target the more competitive valuable terms like ‘curtains Brisbane’.

    The month of November has been a positive month across the board! We have seen a 9% increase in the overall website traffic, with 146 total users coming from organic traffic (SEO) and 33 users coming from cpc traffic (Google Ads). The Google Ads campaign has performed very well through November, and we will be working in the coming month to achieve an improved CTR and an increase in the total number of conversions. The SEO campaign has also made some great progress towards more of those more valuable page #1 rankings. Our focus will remain on the Brisbane keywords through December as we continue working to move these keywords onto the first page of results.

    SEO Analysis

    November has produced a fantastic month of SEO results! We can now see 75 keywords appearing on the first page of Google’s results, with 37 of those keywords actually appearing in the top 3 positions on the first page. It has been very positive in particular to see the Brisbane terms ‘custom made curtains south brisbane’ and ‘roman blinds brisbane’ jump a massive 83 and 51 positions respectively. Over the coming month we will be continuing with our existing off page strategy as it seems to be performing well and pushing more keywords onto page #1 of Google’s results.

    AdWords Analysis

    It has been a very pleasing month of November for our Google Ads campaign. We have seen great progress in the statistics across the board. Despite having a higher cost per click, we have managed to achieve 39 Clicks, 3.7 Impressions, 3 Overall Conversions and 7.7% Conversions rate which is great!. These stats have improved drastically from the month of October which is a great indication that we have performed some very effective optimisations and changes to the campaign throughout the month. The plan for the coming month is to customise our ads for the Christmas season as this will also help us in getting a better CTR and total conversions.
