Andersons Window Furnishings – November 2021 Monthly Report

The SEO campaign for the month of November shows areas for potential in site traffic as well as promising first page rankings for most of the target keywords. Site traffic takes a slight dip this month at 544 users, with 276 users coming from the organic search channel. Most of the target keywords this month successfully secured top 4-10 positions of first page results, with keywords ‘curtain brisbane’, ‘curtains brisbane’, and ‘custom made curtains brisbane’ ranking at 5th, 6th, and 8th position. This is followed closely by the keyword ‘roller blinds brisbane’ which is ranking at 18th position. The impressive keyword rankings are further strengthened by the SEO campaign after on-page optimisations were completed in November for the keyword ‘shutters brisbane’. For the month of December, we plan to use on-page optimisations for the keyword ‘curtain fabric brisbane’ to push its ranking closer to the top positions of first page results.

The Google Ads campaign shows areas for potential growth as well. The 2.01% increase in Impressions and 4.91% increase in Search Impression Share look promising for the site’s visibility. With these positive results, we’re pleased to report that we are still ranking in the top 10. The campaign has produced a total of 2 conversions and 175 clicks with a 5.38% CTR. The CPC this month is at $2.56 — this is 11.76% higher than last month and indicates that competitors are bidding aggressively on similar keywords. Through December, we plan to actively update the negative keywords list to avoid irrelevant and competitor searches. To attract more high-intent traffic and encourage more conversions, we will optimise the ad copy further and conduct other tests in the campaign structure or landing pages.

  • November has shown some challenging stats for the month. We have seen an increase in Impressions by 2.01% and in Search Impression Share by 4.91% which are indications of improvement in the market visibility and competition. We still remain within the top 10 in ranking.
  • However, we have noted a decline in CTR by 8.26% and an increase in avg. CPC by 11.76% which means competitors are aggressively bidding on similar keywords.
  • With that being said, the plan for December is to actively update the negative keywords list to avoid irrelevant and competitor searches. We will also focus on further optimizing the ad copy and conducting some other tests in the campaign structure or landing pages to attract more high-intent traffic, which can result in a higher number of conversions.
