The campaign again sees highs and lows throughout the month of October. Site traffic has started to climb back, up 6.0% with an up-and-down trend that ended on a high note. Moreover, a higher percentage of users came through organic (SEO) channels – 52.6% in October versus 48.2% in September. Almost all organic search users were new as well, which is pleasing to see. The SEO campaign did experience some setbacks, although the average SEO rank of the site remains high at 6.7 overall. Some keywords dropped out of the top 3 spots of Google search results, but a large majority remain within the top 10 spots. The ‘childrens dentist Denham Court’ keyword, for example, is now up to 4th from 7th – closer now to the top 3 spots! October saw a focus on off-page strategies to gain quality contextual links. This November, the focus will return to on-page optimisations, particularly on the ‘dentist Glenfield’ keyword to take advantage of its monthly search volume.
