The month of April has been a highly successful run for the SEO campaign! Since we were able to accurately track website data for the entire month, we note an 83.3% increase in overall site traffic compared to last March. There have been heavy fluctuations in site visits throughout the month, presenting the opportunity of a higher number of site users for the coming month of May. We have noted Google’s inaccuracy in the page load time through this month and can confirm through tracking tools, that the site speed is sitting at about 3 seconds. On the SEO rankings front, it has been fantastic to see the organic (SEO) channel source the majority of the site visits, with 134 organic visits for the month. For keyword rankings, there has been a slight decline in average SEO ranking which can be attributed to a few keywords dropping from the top 3 positions to the top 4 to 10 positions (still on the first page of results). Nevertheless, the rankings for the campaign’s focus keywords listed below have performed very well as they continue to secure their positions on the first page of Google search results. Our strategy for the coming month of May is to shift our attention to boosting the keyword ‘dentist preston’ by using on-page strategies.

  • 38 keywords ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 22 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘dentist ingleburn’ maintained its ranking in 2nd position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘dentist minto’ jumped two notches and now ranks in 7th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘dentist macquarie fields’ ranking in 9th position (first page)
  • Through the month of May, we will continue with our on-page strategies to see the keyword ‘dentist preston’ move from it’s current 30th position ranking, closer to the first page of results

    We are pleased to see some wins for the SEO campaign this month of March, particularly resolving the website tracking code malfunctions from last month. We were able to track 138 users for the month, with most of these site visitors coming in during the latter weeks of March. We are pleased to note that the majority of the site traffic was brought in by the organic (SEO) channel with the number of organic users currently at 61 users, however we also noted the significant dip in the average session duration. This drop is something we will monitor overing the coming, however seeing this still over the minute and a half mark does not cause reason for concern. For keyword rankings, there has been a minimal dip in the average SEO ranking. Even though the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions of Google are held steady at 45, there has been a slight decrease in the number of keywords ranking in the top 4-10 positions. Nevertheless, we are pleased to find the below focus keywords perform strongly for the month as they continue to secure their rankings on the first page of organic search results. We are also excited to track positive movements for the keyword ‘dentist Minto’ from last month’s campaign strategy. We will be using an off-page strategy to pursue this growth further for the coming month of April.

  • In March, on-page optimisations were completed with a focus on the keyword ‘dentist Minto’ and as a result we have seen its ranking move up a notch from 10th to 9th position!
  • In the coming month we will turn back to our off-page strategy to see the keyword ‘dentist minto’ move closer to the top 3 positions on the first page of results
