The month of February has produced stable results for the SEO campaign. There have been a few dips in the collected data, however we can pinpoint new areas of improvement from the latest SEO performance. First off, we are pleased to see a turn around in overall website traffic as there has been a slight increase in the number of users for the month. It is worth noting that the increase in traffic includes new users brought in by the organic (SEO) channel. For the keyword rankings, we note a drop in average SEO ranking. This is brought by the decline in the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions. Although these keywords have dropped to the top 4 to 10 positions, they can still be found relevant on the first page of Google search results. The targeted keywords are performing steadily but can also be an area of improvement. One of the biggest wins from January was moving keyword ‘bathroom renovations gosnells’ to the second page of Google, but it has dropped down to the 21st position (third page) of search results this month of February. To address these dips, we will be focusing on boosting the targeted keyword using on-page optimisations for the coming month of March.

The results produced for the month of January have been generally positive for the campaign despite a few dips in the tracked data. Although the overall website traffic has gone down by 11.1%, the decline is not attributed to the SEO campaign since the number of users coming from the organic channel has gone up for the month! This is a positive display of the SEO presence despite the lag in website performance. There has been a slight dip as well in the keyword rankings but we were able to gain another keyword in the top 3 positions of organic search results. the targeted keywords have been performing strongly. One of the biggest wins for the month was seeing keyword “bathroom renovations gosnells” move up from the 31st positions to the 16th. We are excited to boost the remaining keywords for the campaign using on-page optimisations for the month of February.
