Canberra Glass – May 2021 Monthly Report

  • The month of May has produced some mixed results for the Google Maps campaign with most keywords maintaining their rankings.
  • Keyword ‘glass Canberra’ ranks in 11th position in Google Maps.
  • Keyword ‘glazier Canberra’ is in 19th position in Google Maps.
  • Keyword ‘glass repairs Canberra’ is ranking in 14th position in Google Maps.
  • Keyword ‘glass replacement Canberra’ is ranking in 11th position in Google Maps.
  • The Google My Business listing also achieved 1,010 views on Google due to the Maps rankings.
  • 20 website visits were generated from Google Maps listing and 9 phone calls.

  • For the month of June, we plan to increase the aggressiveness of our off-page strategy to ensure we can see a push in the rankings towards the map pack (top 3 results in Google Map results) and see a further increase in the calls generated from Google Maps.

    We’re pleased to report that the SEO campaign for the month of October produced stellar results from the Google Maps listing. There is a consistent upward trend across the board for all targeted keywords, with keywords ‘glass Canberra’, ‘glazier Canberra’, ‘glass repairs Canberra’, and ‘glass replacement Canberra’ going up the rankings to 12th, 9th, 7th, and 8th position of Google Maps results this month. The successful Google Maps rankings also positively impacted the Google My Business listing, which resulted in a massive increase in site views this month. From last month’s total of 1,350 views, the GMB listing now has a total of 1,620 views. There are also more site visits this month at 47 website visits. The GMB listing was also able to generate 18 phone calls, 1 direct message, and 2 requests for directions this month. The success of the GMB listing can be attributed to the optimised content that we were able to create and post with the objective of increasing location relevance. On the organic search results front, areas for potential are site traffic stats and keyword rankings, which both experienced a slight dip. Site traffic this month slides down 19.8% to 97 users, with 85 of these users coming from the organic search channel. Rankings for the keywords ‘glazier Canberra’, ‘glass repairs Canberra’, and ‘glass replacement Canberra’ are also slightly lower this month compared to the previous month. We will continue to focus on-page and off-page optimisations on the keyword ‘glazier Canberra’ to improve its ranking in both organic search and Google Maps results and to boost further traffic and visitor action on the Google Maps listing.
