Dental Care Professionals – July 2020 Monthly Report

The month of July has seen a slower month of results with a big win on the Google Ads front. The slower results come from the overall website traffic which has seen a 39% drop over the last month. However, while the website traffic is down, the big win for the month came by achieving an additional conversion than what was achieved in the previous month. With a total of 5 conversions through the month we are very pleased with how the Google Ads campaign is reacting to the optimisations made through July. Through August, we will continue with our optimisations with the goal of seeing the increase in conversions trend continuing as well. Our focus is on driving an increase in the click through rate which should in turn also see a higher number of conversions achieved.

  • July has produced steady results from the Google Ads campaign. We have seen the conversion rate increase this month which is very exciting to see. Although the CTR has dropped compared to the previous month’s, we are still sitting in a positive position. We are still facing some challenges in tracking conversions and will continue to work on a solution for this as a priority in the coming month. The plan for August is to structure the campaign to drive an increase in the CTR, and we will also work with the campaign to have improved consistency in the overall conversions achieved throughout the month.

    June has seen a steady month of results from the Google Ads campaign. We have seen the overall website traffic remain on par with the previous month and it has been positive to see the number of impressions and clicks increase from May. While our Click Through Rate (CTR) has dropped slightly, seeing this at over 7% is still a fantastic place to be. We will be working in the coming month to optimise the campaign to see a further increase in the traffic clicking through on our ads (this will also increase the CTR) as well as the number of legitimate conversions through the month.

    Google Ads Analysis

  • The campaign has generated 318 Clicks, a 7.7% CTR, 4.2k Impressions and 4 Total Conversions. This means we are in a good position in terms of traffic from the previous month, however June has produced a slower month in terms of overall conversions.
  • We have noticed the practice receiving low intent phone calls and we have further optimised the campaign to minimise these irrelevant conversions and instead continue to focus on the higher value conversions.
  • Additionally we are still facing an issue with conversions not appearing correctly in the marketing dashboard, this is something we are continually working to resolve.
  • Our plan for the month of July is to restructure the campaign to drive more traffic with broader keywords without sacrificing the quality of leads. With these optimisations, we will also be working towards a more consistent conversion trend.
