The month of July has produced a variety of results for the SEO and Google Ads campaign with some wins for both! We are pleased to start off with an increase in the average SEO ranking for the SEO campaign. This is due to the increase of keywords ranking in the top 4 to 10 positions of Google search results. We are also ecstatic to find positive growth for almost all of the targeted keywords of the campaign. We will continue to boost the vital keywords of the campaign for the coming month of August by using on-page optimisations. The Google Ads campaign has seen some pleasing results as we continue to secure our strong conversion rate. The campaign has had a multitude of wins as well in terms of campaign traffic and CTR. The only downside for this month is seeing a slight increase in average CPC, which we will be addressing in the coming month of August by optimising non-performing keywords. We will try to continue this level of growth as well for conversions and CTR.

The results produced for both the SEO and Google Ads campaigns this June have been slower than expected. To start, there has been a 12.4% decrease in overall website traffic for the month. It is unfortunate to see that the number of users from both the organic (SEO) and CPC channels have gone down, likely due to a lower number of searches during the recent Sydney lockdown. In terms of keyword rankings in the SEO campaign, there has been a decrease in the overall SEO ranking due to a number of keywords dropping down from their previous positions on the first page of Google search results. Nevertheless, the focus keywords have been generally steady in their rankings. A notable improvement in the targeted keywords this month was for keyword ‘cosmetic dentist hornsby’ that jumped from the 31st position to the 8th position on the first page of results. For the Google Ads campaign, the number of clicks remains the same despite the increase in impressions which shows us there is room for improvement. Nevertheless, both the CTR and conversion rate are at a strong percent (CTR= 4.2%, Conversion rate = 16.1%). For the coming month of July, we will be optimising the ad copy and bidding strategies to ensure we can see an increase in clicks and traffic from the ads.
