Dobson Excavations – November Monthly Report

The month of November has been very pleasing across the board While we have seen a dip in the overall website traffic, it has been fantastic to see that 198 of the total website visits have come through cpc (Google Ads) and 170 users have come from organic (SEO results). The SEO rankings have continued to make strong progress towards those more valuable first page positions over the last 30 days and with our link building strategy we do expect this trend of results to continue over the Christmas period. The Google Ads campaign has also seen massive improvements through November with a total of 3 conversions. Through December we will continue with our optimisations to ensure we can maintain or even improve on these numbers.

SEO Analysis

November has produced another impressive month of SEO numbers. We can now see 93 keywords appearing on the first page of Google’s results, with 15 of those keywords actually appearing in the top 3 results on that first page. We have seen some massive jumps in rankings with the terms ‘land clearing canning vale’, ‘driveway construction maddington’ and ‘bobcat hire byford’ moving 97, 91 and 90 positions respectively to now all be on page #1 on Google. Through December our off page strategy will be continuing to ensure we can build more authority behind the website which will in turn see our rankings continue to move into those more valuable first page positions.

AdWords Analysis

The Google Ads campaign has improved greaty through November. We have seen an increase in the CTR (15.8%), Conversions (200%), Conversion rate (242.1%) and we were also able to achieve a lower cost per conversions (-68.8%) which is fantastic. These numbers have improveed from the results we have seen in the previous month and is a great sign that our optimisations are pushing the campaign in the right direction. In the coming month, we will use the same structure, and also add the search terms to our keywords list and focus on improving our CTR.

October produced an outstanding month of results! We have seen a massive 34% increase in website traffic, with the majority of this website traffic coming from cpc (cost per click – Google Ads) and organic (Google search results)! The SEO rankings have made some very pleasing progress towards the top 3 positions on the first page of Google. We will be utilising our off page strategy to encourage more keywords into the 1st page of results through November. On the Google Ads front, we will be optimising the campaign using the data achieved over the last 2 months to ensure we can see an increase from the 1 conversion we were able to achieve this month.

SEO Analysis

The month of October has been a fantastic month of results! We can now see 83 keywords appearing in the top 10 positions (first page), with 11 of those keywords actually appearing in the top 3 positions on the first page of Google’s results. The keywords ‘land clearing fremantle’, ‘driveway construction canning vale’ and ‘earthmoving contractors kalamunda’ have moved 95, 87 and 85 positions respectively over the last 30 days which is very impressive. It has also been great to see some steadier movements for the ‘earthmoving’ and ‘bobcat hire’ keywords as they make their way to page #1 on Google. Over the coming month, our focus will be on the off page strategy to ensure we see this trend of movements continuing through the month of November.

AdWords Analysis

The Google Ads campaign produced a positive month of results. We have been able to see an increase in the number of Clicks (119.2%), CTR (15%) and Impressions (90.6%) through the month of October. In the coming month, we will be rebuilding the campaign to generate more conversions and to achieve a higher conversion rate. We would be using single keyword ad groups for an improved ad scrore and relevance which will help us achieve our goal. We will also try a different approach in our ads and keywords, using the data we have gathered in the last 2 months.
