The month of March has produced a positive month overall. We have been able to maintain the total number of conversions as was achieved in the previous month. However in the coming month our focus will be on increasing the CTR while also lowering down the cost per conversion which is currently higher than we would like it. On the Google Maps front, we can now see the map listing ranking in the 6th position for the keyword ‘electrician gold coast’. This means the ranking has jumped 6 positions from where it was in the previous month. We will be continuing with our off-page strategy to ensure we can maintain this ranking and even push it further up the map results towards the top 3 positions.

Google Ads Analysis

  • The month of April has produced some positive results from the Google Ads campaign. We have generated 46 Clicks, 3.9% CTR, 1.2k Impressions, 5 total Conversions and a 10.86% Conversion Rate. These numbers are very pleasing to see considering the situation with COVID-19.
  • However, we can see that our CTR (Click Through Rate) is lower compared to the previous months and this is something that we can control and will work on in the following months to improve. We have also seen that our cost per conversion was quite high through the month of April. We will be working to bring this down in the coming months.
  • The plan for the month of May is to resolve the conversion tracking issue to ensure that all conversions are displaying in the marketing dashboard. We will also look into structuring the campaign to drive an increase in CTR and a lower cost per conversion by optimising the ads and keywords along with the bidding strategy.
